SBU Shop is not just a store: it is a space where fashion becomes an experience, where every piece tells a story and radiates energy. Here, seasons and fleeting trends are not followed, nor is the focus on interior design. The emphasis is on the selection of products, their quality, and the unique character each piece carries, creating an authentic and personal wardrobe.
At the heart of SBU is its autonomy: each strategic unit operates as an independent division, small enough to remain flexible, yet large enough to control the factors that influence long-term performance. This structure allows for rapid adaptation to market changes, while always maintaining coherence and identity. Each collection is therefore conceived with a clear and distinctive purpose, aimed at clients seeking a timeless and personal style.
Among the iconic pieces, the white T-shirt represents the foundation of every wardrobe. Simple and versatile, it can be worn as an undergarment or as an outer layer, adapting to every season and situation. It is a classic that never goes out of style, a cornerstone for building an essential yet elegant look.
The Rome store, located just 20 meters from Piazza Navona, occupies 200 square meters divided between two main rooms and a studio, with two street-facing windows and a private courtyard. Far from the typical shopping districts, the area feels like a timeless village, surrounded by the historic monuments of the city. Entering SBU means immersing yourself in a space where craftsmanship, design, and style coexist, offering a unique and refined experience.
SBU collections, particularly the denim line, are designed to create a modern classic wardrobe, combining garments of different origins and functions that complement and enhance each other. Every pair of jeans features the hand-printed white logo, while the fabrics are sourced from Japan and crafted using traditional, high-level textile techniques. The Ultra Soft Denim line blends premium materials with advanced technologies, ensuring each piece is unique, while the entirely Italian production guarantees craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
SBU is therefore a place where timeless style, global craftsmanship, and strategic autonomy come together, designed for those who wish to build a versatile and personal wardrobe. Every piece can be combined with others, offering endless interpretations of the same style and giving the client the freedom to express their identity through fashion.
Visiting SBU is not simply shopping: it is an experience that blends tradition, innovation, and creativity, where every product becomes part of your story and daily life, elevating fashion to something deeper and more personal.
Strategic Business Unit archive is a collection of historical fashion elements.
It contains garments and publications, which have accumulated over the course of SBU’s lifetime, along with fashion garments, books and magazines, which have been selected for permanent preservation on grounds of their enduring cultural, historical or evidentiary value.
Strategic Business Unit archive is constituted by new and ‘second hand’ garments obtained from vintage clothing shops and vintage fashion, antique markets, flea markets, textile and collectable fairs and auctions all over the world. Most ‘vintage clothing’ contained within this archive have been previously worn, but a large percentage of pieces contained in SBU archive have not. These are often old warehouse, or shop stock. These items are usually referred to by dealers as ‘dead stock’, ‘old stock’ or ‘new old stock’ and can be more sought after and more valuable than those that have been worn, especially if they have their original tags. A special section of the archive is dedicated to the stratgic business unit ‘prototypes’, which attempt to simulate the final design, aesthetics, materials and functionality of SBU fashion garments.
The Strategic Business Unit archive is not open to the public and only used by workers of the company.
