Strategic Business Unit special was showed simultaneously in representative stores in Rome, London, Munich, Wien, Stockholm, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo in 2003 for the first time.
Used garments taken from Strategic Business Unit archive and remodelled in shape and proportions inspire SBU special. Each item has been reproduced to resemble the original model. The use of the most sophisticated technology combined with the manual intervention make each piece of this section absolutely unique.
Strategic Business Unit special collection presents coats, jackets, waistcoats and raincoats having traditional interior details, which are combined together with jeans or cotton trousers and t-shirts or sweaters. Protective outer garments role is central in our special selection.

A number of patterns not frequently found anymore are used to produce SBU special sports jackets. Patterned fabrics are largely used to produce this section of items. Vertical and horizontal stripes are presented in a number of different styles and colours. A section of garments are produced with using ‘glen’ check‘, tartans’ check patterns, most closely associated with scottish clans, and ‘plaid’ cloth commonly used as a blanket. Glen check, which is often called prince of wales check, has deep associations with the country wear. ‘Herringbone’ is another appropriate pattern within this selection; it is most often used for winter collections.
